mankind, degen X, Rock, Shane, Vince
Shows opening segment. Degen X comes in, Road Dogg says to cut their music, and does his fuckass intro. when the crowd says "tag team champions" he reveals he's actually talking about Mankind, who was the Heavyweight champion. He enters, and while he's walking around the stage, the announcer refers to degen X as his adoptive family. Road Dogg again alters a catchphrase. "if you're not down with mankind, I've got 1 word for you: Socko". Mankind enters the ring, as it cuts to Shane and Vince watching. in the ring mankind says he needs new music (video cut to Rock) as he's getting his ass kicked in the MV, he also says he "takes a licking and keeps on ticking" which was weird.
He then talks about how he used to be frequently refused a job at the federation. he says Jim ross wanted him in, and that he wants Ross to ref one of his matches. He thanks Degen X and Stone Cold for helping him win the belt, and says he owes Stone Cold one. He says his next dream is to main event Wrestlemania with Stone Cold. The corporation comes out. Shane calls him a disgrace, and is shocked that mankind has friends. Shane then says the Corporation is going to fight Degen X. The rock says he's way cooler than Mankind and that he didn't actually beat him. Mankind looks depressed.
Rock threatens Stone Cold. Rock says Mankind is broke, a fake champion, stupid, ugly, inarticulate and looks like monkey shit. Mankind says rock is right about a lot of things, but that he's a better wrestler who has beaten the rock twice, and also that his cooking smells bad. Rock tries to get a title match by suggesting more and more severe match types, while mankind swings on the ropes and uses the rocks catchphrases against him. Rock looks likes his going to cry, says he should use Socko to touch his balls. Mankind is very offended, and threatens to stick Socko in the Rocks pants. Rock says he quits trying to get a title match, to which mankind says he accepts an "I quit match". Vince is like "sure what the hell" but you have to go fight Kane tonight or whatever.
